Located in the heart of the picturesque Eden Valley, Heights Castle offers self catering accommodation and a private Caravan Club site in pleasant and relaxing surroundings.

Heights Castle is set within seven acres of private land, in quiet countryside with panoramic views, three miles from the delightful county town of Appleby-in-Westmorland. We have one static holiday caravan situated in private grounds with beautiful views across the Eden Valley, and a Caravan Club Certified site for up to five touring caravans, with shower and toilet facilities provided. Heights Castle provides an ideal base for touring the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales, as well as providing some beautiful views and relaxing surroundings of its own.

The caravan is equipped with a Calor gas cooker and water heater, microwave, shower and toilet, colour television with digital reception, gas fire and fridge, and mains water supply. There is plenty of private car parking beside the van. Bed linen is supplied.

All dogs and pets are very welcome, all we ask is that they are kept off the furniture!

A shop, restaurant and takeaway are all located in the village of Great Ormside, about 1.5 miles away. There are pubs in nearby Great Asby, and of course in Appleby.

There are also a number of countryside walks and footpaths near to the site, providing an ideal opportunity for a pleasant stroll (as well as being an ideal place for dog walking!)

Short breaks are available outside of the main season - please ask for details.
