Manor Farm is a working dairy farm covering over 250 acres of farmland in beautiful, tranquil countryside with breathtaking views. Located about 1/3 mile outside the historic market town of Broughton-in-Furness within the Lake District National Park. The caravan is new and luxurious, with u-pvc double glazing and full central heating for comfort and warmth all year around. Sleeping up to 6 people with one double bedroom, one twin-bedded room and a double sofa-bed in the lounge area. The lounge has flat screen TV, video, DVD and multi-CD stereo system. The kitchen is fully equipped with fridge (with freezer compartment), gas hob and oven, microwave etc. The caravan is situated above the farm in an elevated private position with ample parking for 2 vehicles. It is surrounded by decking and a large verandah with table, chairs, parsol & barbecue. All bedding and towels are provided. The rental price includes electricity, gas and water. Sorry, no pets or smokers. Broughton-in-Furness is within walking distance, where you will find a Post Office and a small range of shops, pubs and cafes. This is an ideal base for touring the Lake District and Furness Peninsular. For walkers and cyclists there is an excellent local network of paths and bridleways, several of which cross the farmland. Nearby attractions include Ulverston, birthplace of Stan Laurel, Coniston and Brantwood, the home of John Ruskin. The popular village of Hawkshead is just 12 miles away, while 9 miles in the opposite direction is Silecroft with its long sweeping coastline and lovely beaches.
