| Meadowbank is a working farm of over 200 acres located in beautiful countryside. The caravans are set in their own little garden within an orchard with sheep, and with views towards Black Combe, Coniston Old Man and Kirkby Fell. A small shed close to the caravan provides secure cycle storage and there is a picnic bench for enjoying meals 'al fresco'. The farm is located on a country lane which is very popular with walkers and cyclists, being on the Mosses cycle route and the route between Foxfield Station and Kirkby.
This is an ideal base for visiting the southern Lake District, Furness Peninsula and the Yorkshire Dales. The village if Kirkby has two pubs, a shop and post office and there are more facilities in Grizebeck village. The nearest beach is just 4 miles away and other attractions in the area include Furness Abbey, the Dock Museum at Barrow-in-Furness and the Laurel & Hardey museum at Ulverston. Windermere is 10 miles away and Kendal is 15 miles distant. One of our caravans has recently been replaced with a newer model. The caravans are fitted with carbon monoxide detectors for your peace of mind. Tariff: £180 per week,
or £30 per night for short stays. Open January - November.
