This is an area ideal for walkers and cyclists (who are most welcome, there is secure cycle storage available). The farm is an ideal place for those who wish to escape the "rat race" and enjoy the peace and tranquility, yet an ideal spot from which to explore the delights of the Lake District and the Cumbrian Coast. Coniston is just 10 miles away. Broughton-in-Furness (4 miles)
has a good selection of pubs, all serving food, and also a few shops.
Millom (6 miles) also offers the same services
as well as a good selection of shops. For those who enjoy spending
some time on the beach Haverigg and Silecroft are nearby (about 7 miles). |
